The accommodation here at Casa Rosa consists of six self contained, fully equipped self catering apartments. They all have a full kitchen with an oven, a full set of kitchen utensils, a full set of cutlery and crockery. In the apartments you will find every thing you need for an enjoyable self catering holiday. If you are planning to send time at the beach the only thing you need to bring are beach towels.
We also offer Bed and Breakfast and or an evening meal if required, both are served in our own Bistro.
Packed lunches can also be arranged.
Each apartment is also equipped with terrestrial Portuguese television and international satellite TV and an electronic safe deposit box
Electric heat is supplied in the winter.
Casa Rosa Self Catering Apartments are set in the countryside just
outside
Moncarapacho with wonderful views and are ideal for walking, biking and bird
watching or just lazing around the pool. As Casa Rosa is so central to the whole
of the Algarve you are not far from any coast line, golf courses or the Spanish
Border After years of decline the old Casa has been restored to a high standard
to provide neat self-catering accommodation.
All electricity, gas, towels and bedding are inclusive in the rental price.

Apartments number 1 on the ground floor Sleeps three people. King size bed also will split into two singles and one
single bed in a wall alcove, there is plenty of storage space.
Separate bathroom/wc with bath and shower.
Kitchen is very well equipped, with a full size cooker, fridge, toaster, orange
juicer and coffee machine plus an eating area. Comfortable lounge area with
international satellite television . Own terrace area.
Apartments number 2 on the ground floor, looks out onto the pool area. Sleeps two adults and two children. Twin beds one bunk bed in a separate
area, there is plenty of storage space.
Separate bathroom/wc with bath and shower.
Kitchen area is very well equipped, with a full size cooker, fridge, toaster,
orange juicer and coffee machine. Comfortable lounge/eating area with
international satellite television. Own terrace area.
Apartments number 3 on the ground floor, looks out onto the pool from the
living and bedroom Sleeps two people. Twin beds, in separate bedroom Large living area with international satellite television

Apartment number 5. A very quiet apartment on the first floor, it has a double bed a separate well equipped kitchen with eating area.
Apartment number 6. On the first floor with a great view to the south with the ocean being just visible. This studio apartment has twin bed.
Notes on accommodation
Living areas are of a high standard.
Bed linen is changed once a week.
Laundry facilities are also available at an extra cost.
Outside

loungers/garden furniture. .

Special interest holidays
Casa Roa is ideal for Walkers and Bird-watchers alike, in the Spring and Autumn,
with the most wonderful wild flowers including wild Orchids. Carvalhal has an
abundance of wild life also with some lovely walking spots.
Travel
Nearest airport is Faro - about 25 mins by car. Car hire is essential and may be
arranged at competitive prices. Car hire can be arranged before arrival, pick up
Faro Airport or at Casa Rosa. There are ample parking spaces.
Distances
Moncarapacho our local village is 5 minutes drive away, Olhao is 10 minutes
drive away.
Further details
The local town of Olhao has locally grown produce markets plus the biggest fresh
fish market on the Algarve. The very picturesque town of Olhao caters for a
variety of tastes ranging from local dishes of sardines and fish paste to
International dishes. As you travel around the Algarve you will find local bars
and restaurants by the roadsides all providing another local dish of pork, this
is well worth a try both in value and taste.
Few places can rival the Algarve, with its superb climate, colourful and
dramatic scenery, allowing the out of season visitor the chance to enjoy the
natural Algarve with its wide diversity of birds, profusion of colourful wild
flowers, olive groves, coastal cliffs, arable fields and marsh land.
To the West is Vilamoura, Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago and the delightful
town of Tavira is approximately 20-25 minutes drive to the East. Spain is a
pleasant 35 minutes away. Ayamonte is a delightful town with very reasonable
prices. Seville is approximately 1 hours drive - and well worth visiting. The
train from Faro to Lisbon is a day trip to be recommended as it is reliable,
clean and serves delicious food.
There are numerous long sandy beaches within an easy drive. Fantastic golf
courses, shops and shopping malls (Guia 30 mins and Faro 15 mins) making Casa
Rosa perfect for enjoying the authentic rural Algarve without being remote.
Restaurants are just a few minutes drive as are the village store and cafe.
